Hello Readers! I have a list of books that I want to read to my children, but I'm curious to know if you have any suggestions that you've read to your kids, or that you think would make for a fun party! I'm open to suggestions! I have a hard time picking my books because there are so many great children's books out there. Some of the books I intend on reading are: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, The Indian in the Cupboard, The Secret Garden, Alice in Wonderland, Rocket Boys (maybe when the kids are a little older), James and the Giant Peach... The list goes on and on. Share your list, and I may pick your book next! :o)

ReplyDeleteOkay, here goes.... A Wrinkle in Time, Mr. Popper's Penguins, Island of the Blue Dolphins, Treasure Island, How to Eat Fried Worms, Matilda, The Little Prince, Dealing with Dragons (This might be more girly--I'll have to reread it), The Last of the Really Great Whangdoodles, Shen of the Sea (a collection of short stories, actually), Odd and the Frost Giants, The Graveyard Book (maybe when he's a little older--it's written for kids, but there are some darker themes), The Search for Delicious, Sideways Stories from Wayside School... I'll let you know if I think of any more!
